Who we are
Care Funding Check is an independent information service for families in the UK looking into NHS Continuing Healthcare funding. It is operated by ENA Enterprises Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17257845) and the data controller for any personal data processed through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration ZC164333).
The care-needs tool collects nothing
Our care-needs tool runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no login, and nothing to upload. The snapshots you pick, and any optional first name you type, stay on your own device — held only in the page’s memory to show you your indicative result. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, we never see or store them, and they are gone the moment you close or refresh the page.
Cookies and analytics
The care-needs tool at /advisor sets no cookies, loads no analytics, and sends us nothing. The cookies and analytics described below apply only to the rest of the site, and only if you accept them. On the rest of the site we use a small number of essential cookies to make it work, and — only if you accept in our cookie banner — Google Analytics to collect website usage data and understand how the general site is used (page views, device type, approximate location). If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is not loaded.
Payments
We offer a paid Assessment Preparation Report priced at £24.99. Online purchase is not currently available. When online purchase is available, payment is handled by Stripe: your card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store them. Stripe sends your receipt under its own privacy policy. Your care answers are not part of the payment.
What else we collect
We have no marketing email list and will not subscribe you to anything. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need to deal with your enquiry. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, erase, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
